I have been unhappy with my face, mainly my profile, for a very long time. I have considered many procedures including rhinoplasty, otoplasty, fat transfer, mandibular advancement and sliding genioplasty. A Chin Implant Will Improve Your Facial Balance

What she is seeing when she looks at herself is that an attractive face is balanced by the chin, nose, cheeks, and (to a lesser extent) the ears. Changing one of these, changes the overall balance of the face, often making the other features look like they were changed as well (even though they weren’t). It always surprises me for instance, when doing computer imaging during an initial consultation, how different the nose looks just by making the chin a bit larger, or how much better the chin looks when the size of the nose is changed. In this young ladies’ case, it not only appears that she has a weak chin, but she appears to also have strong features otherwise (cheeks, nose, lips, and eyes). In essence, her chin is out of balance with the rest of the features on her face. By placing a chin implant (pretty easy to show this with computer imaging), it is very likely that the other features she is currently unhappy with, will look balanced and correct. With this in mind, a consultation that includes computer imaging will allow her to see what will happen with a chin implant, helping her decide if this will give her the result that will make her the happiest.
